STN STaff L to R: Malcolm Marler, Kelly Ross-Davis, Chris Hamlin, Carol Padgett, and Joe ElmoreThe Support Team Network staff made a decision on July 20, 2006 to focus 100% of its efforts to issues related to HIV/AIDS including:

* Preventive Education,
* HIV Testing, and
* Support for persons living with HIV who are patients of The 1917 Clinic at UAB.

The Support Team Network has been a program of The 1917 Clinic at UAB (the AIDS Outpatient Treatment and Research Clinic) since its beginning in 1994. In the last six years, the program had expanded to teach others how to develop teams for any health-related need.
